Russell Clarke

Russell Clarke has over 30 years’ experience in Marketing and Business Development, with the last 15 years in Pensions.

He is BESTrustees’ main contact for all new business or press opportunities and enquiries.

Russell began his career in advertising and publishing before moving into Financial and Professional Services, with roles in banking and financial research. The move to Pensions came 15+ years ago when he became Head of Marketing for a FTSE 250 employee benefits consultancy.

In Pensions, Russell has held a number of senior Business Development roles at a number of specialist advisory firms, before becoming Head of Business Development at another firm of independent trustees in 2018. He joined BESTrustees in 2023.

Away from the office, Russell is a regular contributor to BBC Radio on popular music and in 2019 wrote and performed his own rock and roll-themed show at the Edinburgh Fringe.
