Peter Langdon

Peter Langdon is a knowledgeable and business-wise independent trustee who worked at senior level for a number of major companies in the communications, security and aerospace sectors.

He joined BESTrustees in 2014 to pursue his interest and passion for pensions.

Peter’s roles in the last 15 years have included mergers and acquisitions integration (with responsibility for pensions), Head of European Intellectual Property, Vice President and Head of Legal Affairs based in Munich, Germany (with global divisional responsibility) and as Vice President and Head of Human Resources for the UK division.

Peter has extensive experience in a wide range of professional disciplines and uses his wide business experience to benefit small and large companies alike. His career-long interest in pensions has led to setting up a GAD-approved DB pension scheme and creating both a new divisional DB pension scheme and a UK-wide DC scheme for a scheme where he has been a trustee or Chair of Trustees for the last 12 years.

Peter is fully accredited as a professional trustee by the APPT and holds the PMI Award in Pension Trusteeship. Away from pensions, Peter enjoys motorcycle riding and touring, clay shooting, music (drumming and learning to play guitar … badly).
