Lisa Mundy

Lisa joined BESTrustees in 2019, after a career within Financial Services lasting for almost 30 years.

Since then, she has been appointed to a mix of Mastertrust, DB and hybrid DB/DC schemes, varying in size from £20m to the largest at £7.5bn

Prior to joining BESTrustees, Lisa spent 12 years working for LV=, one of the UK’s largest insurance companies, most recently as Service Director for the Life & Pensions business. Her key skills lie in Chairmanship, stakeholder management, communication, interpreting and challenging management information and using practical approaches to problem solving.

Lisa was first appointed as a pension trustee in 2016 and has served on the Board of both the LV= DB (£1.8bn) and DC (£185m) schemes. As well as serving on the boards, Lisa chaired the DC sub-committee and was a member of the Admin sub-committee. With her background in customer service, Lisa is very focused on the member and has led reviews of both member communications and service improvements with administrators.

Lisa is a fully accredited professional trustee with the APPT. Away from the office, Lisa is a working mum with a 12-year-old son who keeps her very busy. In her spare time Lisa plays tennis and still dreams of winning Wimbledon!
