BESTrustees has announced its fifth professional trustee recruit of 2024, with the arrival of Alison Creasy, who joined from another trustee firm on 26 October. Her recruitment is the fifth trustee since the beginning of 2024, following the arrivals of Keith Burgess, Sue Hunter, Russell Baird and Peter Redhead.
Alison has enjoyed a 30-year career in the pensions industry, firstly as a pension consultant and actuary with several leading advisory firms, before becoming a professional trustee in 2012.
Alison’s previous professional trustee work includes DB, DC and Hybrid schemes of all sizes from the very low millions up the half a billion, and from a very wide range of sectors. Her true specialism is preparing schemes for the journey to buy-in and an ultimate wind-up, which she has successfully completed multiple time, with many more currently on the journey.
“This year has been a year of fantastic growth for us and Alison is now the fifth new trustee to join since the beginning of the year – and the first to join us from another trustee firm. We are excited to welcome her and are thrilled she chose BESTrustees to continue her work as a professional trustee, for which she has a terrific reputation.”
Ann Rigby, Chair of BESTrustees said:
“I am delighted to be joining BESTrustees. BESTrustees rightly has a great reputation in the industry and a fantastic team of professional trustees. I am really looking forward to representing them on my client schemes.”
