We are pleased to announce that Bob Hymas has joined the board of BESTrustees.
Bob Hymas is a qualified accountant and highly experienced professional trustee. He joined BESTrustees in 2016 after several years as Chief Financial Officer at a multi-billion-pound pension scheme and has almost 30 years’ experience working with pension schemes.
He joins the board as of 1 July 2024 and brings the complement to four, including Chair Ann Rigby and fellow directors Huw Evans and Andy Boorman.
I am thrilled to be joining the board at this interesting time in our development. Happily, BESTrustees is in a very strong position after a prolonged period of year-on-year growth, but this is a rapidly changing sector and I look forward to supporting our continued growth from a position on the board.
Bob Hymas
In the week that we launch a new logo and website, I am thrilled that Bob accepted our invitation to join the board. The everchanging regulation in our industry means independent trustee firms like ours need to constantly add fresh thinking and diverse skills to their boards. Bob’s background in risk management and audit will be extremely helpful in the next year given the introduction of the General Code.
