The Pensions Regulator is the UK regulator of work-based pension schemes and are empowered by the UK government to regulate them.

This website brings together a wide range of public service information and services online and is produced by the Central Office of Information.


The Pensions Advisory Service

The Pensions Advisory Service is an independent voluntary organisation set up to give free help and advice on occupational or personal pension issues.


Pensions Ombudsman

If The Pensions Advisory Service is unable to help, the Pensions Ombudsman can be contacted, they can investigate and determine any complaint or dispute of fact or law.


Pension Protection Fund

The Pension Protection Fund was established to pay compensation to members of eligible defined benefit pension schemes, when there is a qualifying insolvency event in relation to the employer and where there are insufficient assets in the pension scheme to cover Pension Protection Fund levels of compensation.
