The team : Richard Stroud

Richard joined BESTrustees in 2007. He has worked in the pensions industry for more than 40 years. He is currently an independent trustee of a pension fund for multi employers operating in the retail sector. Its assets are about £200m, with contribution income of £13m p.a. and 8000 members.

From 1978 to 2007 Richard was Chief Executive of The Pensions Trust, a multi-employer scheme for 4000 charities & voluntary organizations. Prior to joining The Pensions Trust, Richard was the Pension Fund Manager of The British Printing Corporation. He was very closely involved with the Main Board, all subsidiary executives, the main print trades unions as well as staff and works members. At the time The British Printing Corporation was one of the first pension funds to appoint Trade Union trustees.
