The team : Miles Buckinghamshire (Director)
Miles joined BESTrustees in June 2004, having retired as a Partner of Watson Wyatt LLP. He has over 30 years' experience in the pensions and investment industries. Miles headed up Watson Wyatt's Welwyn office and was also responsible for some of Watson Wyatt's major clients including amongst others, Eaton Corporation, Parker Hannifin and Nacco Industries. Currently, he is the Chair of 6 schemes and on the Board of two others as well as acting as an Alternate on a number of BESTrustees clients.
He was also the Partner in charge of the Watson Wyatt pensions administration outsourcing project for ICI in 1995/96.
As the Earl of Buckinghamshire, Miles was a member of the House of Lords between 1984/1999. He took part in the All Party Group on Occupational Pensions and the All Party Group on Ageing Issues and was much involved in the pensions legislation before the House during that period.
