The team : Mel Clayton

Mel Clayton is BESTrustees' Office Manager and PA to Managing Director, Clive Gilchrist. She joined BESTrustees in June 2006 after leaving Burlington Resources where she was PA to General Manager of the Drilling Department. Mel has over 15 years' experience working as a secretary and, latterly, a PA, mostly in the oil and gas industry.

At BESTrustees Mel is responsible for the day-to-day running of the office and handles all invoicing and accounting issues. Other key responsibilities are maintaining the BESTrustees' database and website along side dealing with new business enquiries, tender documents and presentations. Her main areas of expertise are IT support and database administration.
