The team : Iain Urquhart
Iain is currently working with BESTrustees on a non-executive basis. He is Group Pensions Director of Trinity Mirror plc and, until recently, was a Director of the three principal trustee companies in the Group.
Iain's expertise in occupational pension schemes spans 30 years and includes British Shipbuilders, J. Bibby & Son and BBA Group. Following a short time in consultancy he joined Mirror Group (now part of Trinity Mirror plc) in 1994.
Iain has been involved with the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) both locally and nationally, having sat on the Committee of the NAPF City and Eastern Group for many years including periods as Chairman and Treasurer. At a national level he has also sat on the NAPF's Benefits Council. Iain is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Member of the Institute of Management.
