Sharing experience

We believe that BESTrustees is unique in the breadth and depth of experience of our executives. Our team approach means that every client has access to all our knowledge and that of our extensive industry network.

Our experience of working with a large number of schemes means that we bring a broad perspective to the many important decision-making areas faced by trustee boards. We believe that it is very much part of our role to share these experiences with our fellow trustees. Very large pension schemes set very high standards. We use this experience to help other, smaller, schemes improve their operations, in a way that is appropriate to their size and resources.

While a problem might be new to one client, we will probably know someone who has already dealt with a similar situation. We use this wide experience to help our clients formulate a practical solution which they can then discuss and customise with their advisers. This approach saves clients both time and money.

Following a trustee meeting, our executives often contact their colleagues to exchange views on issues that have arisen. By sharing knowledge in this way, we can solve problems in a quick and efficient way. As a result, clients get the benefit of the whole team's experience, not just that of their appointed representative. This also means that each issue only needs to be addressed once; the solution can then be adapted to the needs of other clients.
