The team : Denise Catterall

Denise joined BESTrustees in 2007. She is currently the Chairman of Trustees of two schemes (PricewaterhouseCoopers and DH&S).

During more than ten years acting as a trustee, Denise has become experienced in negotiating with employers, developing successful investment strategies, covenant evaluation and the creation of effective governance policies. 

From 1987 to 2004 she was a tax partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers (and predecessor firms), specialising in partnerships and growing companies. She led the tax practice in East Anglia prior to moving to London to head up PwC’s Professional Partnerships Group, a role she continued until she retired as a partner in 2004.
